Meal of the Year

We regret to inform you that due to the ongoing uncertainty of the pandemic and the prevalence of the
omicron variant,we are canceling this year’s event. Meal of the Year was scheduled for Saturday, April 9,
2022, but now will be held in the spring of 2023.While we are hopeful that cases will significantly subside by
early April, we wish to safeguard the well-being of your guests, our students, and the many others involved with
producing an event of this scale. With the current burden on our healthcare system and healthcare workers,
we are erring on the side of caution, as the welfare of our community is our highest priority. We are currently
working on a ‘pivot’ plan to find safe ways to engage the community and our supporters and ensure we continue
to raise critical funds for our students.

The COCC Foundation appreciates our many sponsors who continue to support our scholarship program and
the educational goals of COCC students across the region – thank you! We optimistically ask you to save the
date of Saturday, April 8, 2023, when we hope to again come together to celebrate our mission and honor the
robust philanthropy of the Bend Foundation.

We are truly sorry to not celebrate with you in person this year,but thank you
for your continued investment in our students, our mission, and our communities.
Most of all, be healthy and well until we convene again!
