Youth Camp@COCC

COCC's youth camps are a series of summer day camps for ages 10-14 held at the college's Bend, Redmond, Madras, and Prineville campuses with sessions indrone technology,junior police academy,writingandculinary, among other topics.

Just in time for summer, COCC has received nearly $250,000 award from the Oregon Association of Education Service Districts to support a range of free and low-cost summer programs, symposiums, camps, and credit-based coursework for regional K-12 students. Hundreds of middle and high school youths across Central Oregon will benefit from the considerable grant.

More than $120,000 was specifically allocated to youth camp programming for middle schoolers, with entirely free programming offered at Madras and Prineville campuses.

Youth Programs Scholarships

Youth Programs@COCC offers a limited number of scholarships covering ½ to all of the tuition and fees for one course/camp per youth per quarter. These scholarships are available on a first come-first served basis and require a completed scholarship application form explaining a verifiable financial need.
